Blowing and Redenting Machine for Repairing Old LPG Cylinder
Product Description
Use the method of external heating + internal nitrogen filling to repair the dent of the cylinder, and the 5.5 Bar nitrogen is prepared by the user.
Manual loading and unloading of bottles
Fill the cylinder with nitrogen up to a maximum of 5.5 Bar. The pressure safety valve should be installed in the nitrogen supply line.
Gently place the flame of the Oxygen-LPG burner on the dent. The flame should be neutral as the oxygen rich flame will burn the hollow of the cylinder.
Keep the flame on until you find the dent go away.
Remove the flame, if necessary, by tapping the surface lightly with a mallet.
Allow the cylinder to cool in still air.
The temperature for de-caving should be around 850 degrees, the temperature can be assessed by the color, bright cherry red.
Cylinders are heated using the following excel. Cylinders heated above this temperature may be damaged and overheated cylinders should be discarded.
The actual nitrogen pressure required to remove dents at this temperature will vary with the size and shape of the dent.
The maximum pressure should not exceed 5.5Bar.
